Why register with the PTA?  

  - It's your chance to sign up for volunteer opportunities such as room parent, AAYFT, the school garden and our science exploratory lab. Plus so much more!

 - Join the PTA for only $15 and you'll get access to the online directory!

 - Donate to the Dolphin Dollars Fund. Every year the PTA invests over $525 per student at Lunada Bay to provide opportunities such as field trips, assemblies, the Stem Lab and many other things.  Please donate to help us cover these costs.

*Teacher assignments will come out on August 21st so you can simply select "not known" at that step.

Please be aware that in order to physically volunteer on campus during the school year there is a set of requirements that the district requires you take prior to being approved.  The application for the 2026/2027 school year will be released soon and we will link it here as soon as we receive it.  

Retuning volunteers simply need to fill out that application (once it is available) and attach a copy of their driver's license and Megan's Law Clearance. 

New Volunteers will need to do the following:

 - Complete the application once it is released

 - Complete a live scan background check (checks you may have done previously for other organizations are not accepted). You can download the form that needs to be completed at the facility HERE.  

 - A TB test result (results are good for 4 years so you just need to submit proof from past results if you had one)

 - California Megan's Law Database Check - a screenshot showing your name was searched

 - A copy of a Valid form of Identification (drivers license or passport)
