Dear Lunada Bay Families,

We are just about ready to start the 2020-2021 school year. Tuesday, August 25th, is our school items pick up day. All LBE students K-5, including Hybrid, Distance Learning and Independent Study, and TK Hybrid only, will follow this schedule to collect items for the start of the year. To ensure a smooth process and for safety reasons, please follow the scheduled times. Masks will be required to enter campus and social distancing protocols will be in place.

Chromebooks – If your child needs a Chromebook, please enter the front office parking lot during your scheduled time. The pickup station will be clearly marked in the middle of the parking lot. Please remain in your car and a staff member will assign you your Chromebook(s). 

Textbooks – Please park in the upper parking lot (by MPR). Send an adult to enter through the front of the MPR. Tables will be clearly marked by grade level and teacher. Student materials will be bundled with student names on top of bundles. Please collect your bundle(s) and proceed to exit stage left of the MPR. You may need to pass through the MPR multiple times if you have multiple children. Consider bringing a bag or backpack to carry out the items. Please honor the one-way traffic flow in the MPR. Masks will be required to enter campus and social distancing protocols will be in place. 

Make-up – If you are unable to come during your assigned time, you may come to the front office between 12:00pm-3:00pm to check-out a Chromebook, then proceed to the MPR to collect your student items. The MPR will remain open until 4:00 pm. If you are unable to collect your items on 8/25, please contact the front office (310) 377-3005, and we will make special arrangements. 

1st day of school is Wednesday, 8/26 - Just a reminder that the first day of school is Wednesday, 8/26. Since we are starting the year remote please look for an email from your child’s teacher, prior to 4:00 PM on 8/24, about how to login that first day. All students will log in starting at 8:30am.
