Spirit Wear Chair

We are looking for someone to oversee the sales and distribution of Spirit Wear, working with the 5th VP of Communication.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Standing Chair

The National PTA organization is committed to building a more diverse, equitable and inclusive PTA. These characteristics include age, ethnicity, gender, language and culture, socioeconomic status, among others.

The DEI Chair works with the 3rd VP of Education and teachers to produce and share content around Black History Month, National Disability Awareness Month, National Hispanic Heritage Month, Autism Acceptance Month, Diwali, Women’s History Month, among many other opportunities. It is up to the school to decide how much and which content they would like to focus on.

Reflections Chair

Reflections is a long-standing National PTA program that provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boost student confidence and success in the arts and in life.

Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-selected theme. This 50+ year-old program helps them explore their own creativity, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.

The Reflections Chair works with the 3rd VP of Education on promoting, collecting and compiling submissions, finding and coordinating with expert judges for each category, and then showcasing and awarding finalist’s artwork.

These programs are a great way to get involved directly with programs that impact our children and our school, and our PTA community. Though we would love it, program chairs are not required to attend PTA meetings. Contact ptalunadabay@gmail.com if you are interested in volunteering for any of these open positions.
